Hyderabad July 9 : Taking cue from party national leadership, BJP leader DK Aruna has intensified membership drive in the state.
On Tuesday she took up the drive of membership at Kulkacharla mandal near Pargi in Vikarabad district. She urged the local leaders and activists to coordinate to take the central schemes to people and ensure their support to the BJP in the upcoming polls for civic bodies.
Aruna said that the BJP is planning to come to power in Telangana in the next polls and there is a need for strengthening our party base in all villages, mandals and towns.
She alleged that the state government failed to serve people in proper way. The people are looking at the BJP as an alternative party in Telangana.
For this we have to collectively work for the BJP victory in the polls to be held for Municipalities and corporations she said. She also appealed to people to join the BJP fold and support it for development.
Aruna said that the nation will see rapid growth in all sectors in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah who is also national president of the saffron party.
