Hyderabad Dec 14 (): In a significant move for federal front at national level, TRS boss Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday pushed his son KT Rama Rao to hold the key as the new working president. This is considered a major shift in the ruling party after winning the polls and forming the government again. KCR said that the promotion to KTR is to strengthen the party from rural level, towns and districts as he and Keshava Rao will move to national politics. KTR will take care of the party and coordination with the government he said during a executive meeting at Telangana Bhavan.
KTR played a significant role along with T Harish Rao for the victory of the party in the polls held for Assembly, by polls and GHMC polls. In future too, KTR has to focus on panchayat polls besides the TRS facing the forthcoming Look Sabha polls in 2019. The TRS won 88 seats out of 119 seats in the polls and the party a complete change. KTR met with general secretary Keshava Rao and Harish Rao as a courtesy call and got their support to the steer the party.
KTR extended thanks to the party chief for the new responsibility in the party.
