PM Modi takes darshan of Balaji, vows to develop India

Hyderabad June 9 (): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said to develop nation in five years and offered support to Andhra Pradesh.

Modi visited Lord Balaji (Venkateshwara) at Tirupathi as part of his itinerary and offered obeisance and prayed for national development.

Earlier addressing a public meeting in Tirupathi the prime minister promised to develop all states alike by according equal priority.

I will work to meet the expectations of 130 cr people for reposing faith on the BJP to retain power, Modi said.

Our schemes will fulfil the aspirations of the people and achieve development, the prime minister said.

Earlier, Modi who flew back from Sri Lanka had landed at Renigunta airport near Tirupati and got welcomed by Governor ESL Narasimhan and Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy.

The Governor and the chief minister and accompanied the prime minister during Balaji darshan.

Former Union Minister and BJP Leader Purandeshwari translated Modi’s Hindi speech into Telugu.
