RTC driver suicide unfortunate, KCR should resolve RTC strike row: DK Aruna

Hyderabad October 23: BJP Leader and former minister DK Aruna on Sunday hit out at the TRS Government for the RTC driver Srinivas Reddy suicide.

It is unfortunate that the RTC driver ended his life she said.

She accused KCR regime of failing to resolve strike imbroglio and merger demand leading to chaos.

Reacting on the alleged suicide and death of the driver at Apollo Hospital near Kanchan bag, she attributed it to the failure of the government.

Aruna took exception to chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for provoking RTC employees on strike and stating to take temporary staff.

She took a dig at the government for removing about 48000 employees of the RTC for not reporting to duties.

The BJP leader appealed to RTC employees to avoid taking extreme steps. The BJP will fight for the RTC employees she said.

She demanded the Chief minister to resolve the strike issue before it turns worse from bad.

Aruna also sought that KCR should initiate measures to end the strike by calling a meeting with Union leaders.

The government has to concede to just demands of the RTC merger and PRC.
