Suspend Utham, Khuntia for Assembly polls debacle: Sarve Satyanarayana to AICC

Sarve meets AICC disciplinary committee Chief AK Antony

Hyderabad Jan 10 (): Congress senior leader and former Union Minister Sarve Satyanarayana on Thursday demanded that the AICC suspend TPCC Chief N Utham Kumar Reddy and in-charge Ramchandra Khuntia for serious debacle in Telangana Assembly polls. He called on the AICC disciplinary committee chairman AK Antony in Delhi and gave clarification that led to feud in Gandhi Bhavan in Telangana and his suspension by Utham and Khuthia which was not correct.

I am totally loyal to UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and family and AICC has the right to remove him for any wrong doing and not TPCC he said. Antony expressed surprise at his removal and sought a complaint he said.

Talking to media persons in Delhi after giving clarification to AK Antony, he said that he strongly urged the AICC top brass to remove Utham Kumar Reddy from TPCC president post and Khuntia as incharge for defeat in the Assembly polls. I sought the scalps of these two leaders who totally destroyed the congress party in the state.

Our high command should suspend Utham Kumar Reddy and Khuntia and give the posts to strong leaders who can lead the party to victory and coordinate with leaders and workers during the LS and panchayat polls Sarve said.

He alleged that Utham and Khuntia sold tickets of MLAs in the Assembly polls and colluded with TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao for single sided mandate. I will submit a complaint in this regard to the AICC with evidence of how Utham and Khuntia colluded with the TRS for the Assembly polls.
