Hyderabad, Aug 22 (): A team of Weavers United Joint Action Committee led by its Chairman Suresh Thursday expressed displeasure that Telangana government failed to keep promises for their welfare. He made a representation to chief secretary SK Joshi at Secretariat for their welfare.
Later talking to media, Suresh alleged that chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao failed to keep promises of providing employment and timely help.
Though the government announced Rs 1,273 cr in the two budgets, no benefits reached their community so far he said
The schemes like yarn subsidy, membership thrift scheme, geo tagging, loan waivers etc did not reach their community in the state so far. He also said of non starter of Kakatiya Mega Textile Park in two years.
